We have always taken personal pride in holding traditional principles and bringing exquisite jewellery to Northern Ireland
Fred J Malcolm Ltd opened for business in 1926 at 18, Chichester Street, where we still occupy our landmark store with its Edwardian listed shop front opposite the City Hall in Belfast.
The business was acquired by the Watt family in 1968. It is still run on a daily basis by the third generation, Neil and Martin Watt. A second store was opened in Botanic Avenue in 1982, which subsequently relocated to the Lisburn Road in 2002. Through the years we have seen many changes in our business, but we have always taken personal pride in upholding the traditional principles on which the business was founded and bringing exquisite jewellery to the people of Northern Ireland.
Many of our customers are third and fourth generation also! Our experience, along with that of our longstanding and experienced staff, will provide you with the reliable and dependable knowledge necessary for your important purchase. We are aware that you want your visit to be a memorable experience and that you expect courteous and personal service. This is what we strive to offer. We all take personal pride in upholding the values upon which Fred J Malcolm was founded in 1926. We are keen for your valuable business so please call in and experience our difference!
